My playlists are simply what I would want to listen to myself. There’s a wide variety of styles, but with one thing in common: the song has to be great. A huge chorus, a production that catches you off guard, a voice that cuts straight through you, or lyrics that are genuinely clever. But in the end, melody always comes first. From Dutch pop to emo, 90s skate punk, piano ballads and queer anthems: if the song hits, it belongs here.
