I started working with bands as a music journalist at 19. By 20 I was promoting concerts+ by 21 I had a major label A&R job based on promoting Kyuss ( Queens of the Stone Age) As a promoter and journalist I discovered Stone Temple Pilots Rage Against the Machine ( I was the first A&R person who tried to sign both) Ice T's Body Count + Matt Nathanson. Original member on the A&R team at Taxi.com since Jan 1994.... There i Discovered Crossfade. I did the A&R on a record that was by Columbia Records the last day of April 2004. Debut single COLD went on to spend 65 weeks in the Top 20 at Active Rock and 48 at Alt rock) and was the most played song of the year on both formats the next year. I worked at catlog labels(early blues and reggae) heritage labels ( Julian Lennon, Jethro Tull, Ian Hunter). I was Christina Perri's first manager .
