Artist Interviews

A full written interview on our Medium. We ask about the person behind the music, then publish the editorial and post an announcement of your interview across Instagram, TikTok and X. SHWLUV MOVEMENT CONTENT DISCLAIMER 🫶🏽 SHWLUV Movement is a platform created to discover, uplift, and spotlight artists with unique voices, stories, and perspectives. Our Interviews intentionally create space for BIPOC and neurodiverse artists, while welcoming artists of every background. You do not have to be BIPOC or neurodiverse to be featured. We believe everyone deserves a space to express themselves and have their creativity recognized. We do get very personal and in-depth about mental health in our questions. So please be fully prepared to participate in this type of dialogue honestly. If you do not feel comfortable with answering personal questions we would kinda ask you to think twice before submitting. Our interview platform is heavily based on artists opening up about their struggles and we would love to maintain that image of open and honest storytelling. As far as your artistry, you may openly discuss mature or difficult topics such as relationships, sexuality, substance use, self-defense, street culture, or personal experiences. Featuring or interviewing an artist does not mean SHWLUV endorses everything they say, experience, or create. Where we draw the line: SHWLUV does not condone or celebrate substance ABUSE, sexual EXPLOITATION or lewd conduct, gang activity, or the glorification of violence. We believe there is a difference between representing real experiences and glorifying harmful behavior. Real artists. Real stories. Different perspectives. Representation without glorification. 🫶🏽 Results like views, engagement, streams, or other outcomes are not guaranteed.
